I may try it out.Why not give it a go and post a review?I don't know that I'll post an in-depth review, but I did spend 1/2 a day working on this package. I like it enough that I've already wiped out my UBCD4Win flash drives and replaced them with this.Ultimately I found the best instructions here:It took some fumbling and testing but the process was easier and more flexible than creating UBCD4Win. WinBuilder is the framework that gathers all the required pieces for the project.

It allowed me to import current driverpacks so I can finally see hard drives of recent systems. There was even an option to download and include Hirens Boot CD which simply required checking a box. It results in an extra entry in the boot menu. The process is very flexible and I'm sure I've just started to scratch the surface. Overall I'm very impressed.I selected as my base PE environment. You can select alternates such as Multi7PE but I have not played with them.Another item I liked was the inclusion of PortableApps.com which was a new concept to me. PortableApps.com allows you to selectively load dozens of programs across several different categories (Office, Security, Games, etc).

It makes the process extremely easy. Don't have a PDF viewer in your PE? No problem, grab one from PortableApps.com and you don't even have to rebuild your USB drive. Programs you grab persist (though probably not if you use a CD/DVD). Note, PortableApps.com is a program you select before building your USB drive.

Bootmgr missing windows 7 fix. You don't boot your PE and then go to their website. If anyone else is looking to replace or update their tool kit I would certainly checkout WinBuilder. The files downloaded from our website are NOT edited, they are theoriginal files. The most common files we are getting reports are “HBCDMenu.exe, HBCDCustomizer.exe, R-Kill.com, konboot.gz”. Please note, they do NOT contain a virus.

If you are getting a virus warning, that is a false positive. Please report the file as a false positive via your antivirus software.During that time you should disable your antivirus or add the relatedfile to your antivirus software’s exceptions list for a problem freeuse.
