Laxman,As stated in someone else resply, it all depends on you application. Your best bet is to gather as much data as possible within a month or 2. You will probably need to provide a daily or weekly snapshot. This can be done using Symantec's(Veritas) I3, OEM, Quest Spotlight, and/or scripts.Ensure that the application team is aware of this activity. The reason why is that you will need their assistance in provide you the transaction/traffic activities. Also, they will be able to provide their projected future growth numbers or percentage to you.
